In order to configure your 7800 series router to assign a fixed IP to a networking device, you will need the follows:

1) The MAC address of the device

2) Decide a LAN IP address within the same subnet as your LAN but outside the 7800 series router's DHCP range. e.g. default DHCP range for Billion router is 192.168.1.100-199. So your are ok to use 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.201..etc.

First, you will need to login to the router's web interface via 192.168.1.254 (default router IP).

On the web interface click on Advanced > Configuration > LAN > DHCP server > Fixed Host
