BiPAC 8900AX2400 no network visibility on 2.4GHz

Post by carrpet »

Hi Billion Fan

I have a another problem and a question !

My problem is ?

I am running D34 firmware and although I can see all my network devices using 5Ghz wireless, I can't see any devices eg NAS and other computers using 2,4GHz. All are visible using ethernet as well.

Can you please suggest why this may be and what tweaks I can make to the 2,4Ghz wireless settings.

My question is

Would I be better off reverting to D27 or moving on to D41.
If I revert to D27 can I save my settings then reload after downgrading the FW from D34

Thanks in anticipation

You can use d41 and see it resolves your issues. (as I have never seen this before on the Bipac 8900AX-2400)

If you revert to d27 you can try loading your newer config (if it fails to load you will need to manually reconfigure the device again.

D41 has the newer 5ghz driver when compared to d34 as the newer 5ghz driver was added from d36 onwards.
