7800DX 4G

Hi,

We use a Billion 7800DX. Unfortunately, we've been without an internet connection for a few days now (waiting on an Openreach Engineer) and thought we'd try configuring a 4g connection using a Samsung s6 plugged into the USB port to get us up and running. Tethering was set but we can't get it to work. Tethered Samsung s6 to a PC and we could access the net so we know there is a signal.

If anyone has any ideas or pointers on how to set this up, we'd be most grateful.

I think your Samsung S6 might not be compatible (very old android versions might work, same as iPhone iOS)

Also attached is the 4G compatibility list (just in case you have a spare 4G dongle lying around)

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I can't view the compatibility test - there is a message saying "you do not have the necessary permissions to view the file" - any idea what I need to do?
