8800NL v2.32e firmware
Just tried the new v2.32e firmware, working OK for me in VDSL bridge mode using Plusnet, I don't use WiFi so can't speak about that.

Re: 8800NL v2.32e firmware
Does anyone know if there are any problems restarting with current settings instead of factory ones?
I'd rather not have to set it up all over again if I can avoid it.
The interface of the 8800NL offers the option of restarting with current settings, as does the user manual, but the upgrading guide advises against it.
I'm less confident of the upgrade guide as it appears to be a generic one, and is titled "How to perform a firmware upgrade on the 7800DXL/DX/VDOX" and the file is named "How to perform a firmware upgrade on the 7800DXL_DX_X_VDOX _and 8800 series.pdf"
Clearly, I don't want to brick it - is this a real risk, or is the worst case scenario that I'll end up with factory settings anyway?

Backup your settings. Then update the FW with default settings. Then restore your settings from that file. Easy.
