Hi Guys
My laptops static ip is 192.168.1.130 and my ps3 is 192.168.1.131
I need to port forward for example port 443 on both
Is there anyway to do this on the 7800N?
Thanks
Keith

Re: Need same port for 2 ips
This looks to be a bug as it is not possible to forward the same external port to two different LAN machine, well at least on the 7800N or Billion routers.
The explanation is because the router will not know which device the traffic should go to if the external listening port is the same.
Why do you need the same port to forward to two different LAN IP? What's the application?
Most people with multiple webserver on the LAN for example will use port redirection so you basically use a different external listening port e.g. port 81 and 82) but then the router can redirect it to the same port 80 on the different LAN webserver. This is possible because each LAN IP has its own port 80 and unlike WAN has only one unique port shared by all LAN devices externally.
