7800N - remote access duration

Can anyone explain the purpose of the Remote Access duration field in the Remote Access config page - I think I've worked out that it's the maximum number of minutes in the day during which you can remotely login to the router, but it'd be great to get some clarification on that.

Yes thats right, the purpose of setting a time is for added security. (this option is for remote access to the router from a remote location)

So for example you are away from home and need to access the router and you don't want this feature on always (for security reasons) so you can set a time limit for this feature. After 5 mins (example) the feature will be disabled, so no one can access your routers web gui page from the internet.

Remote Access duration shows how long you were accessing the remote computer using any remote support services such as Logmein, GoSupportNow etc.
