Perhaps you have more sophisticated logging for testing ? My system log is just a string of received RA and RS warnings, there are never any entries coinciding with dis/reconnects. I've relied on watching a Windows network status dialog while I'm working to see this instead. Disconnects are never permanent and it will always reconnect in a minute or two by itself, so there either has to be a recorded log entry to go back to or simply catch it happening in the Windows status dialog.

If you've achieved a straight 18 hours without disconnect, that's looking good already because I dis/reconnect about 3 to 4 times per hour
I am checking connectivity only (when I had the issue I wasn't sure when it happened as the logs were filled with RS and RA logs, I only found the issue in the morning),

So far its been 3 days on my side with and no issues, maybe you can try the new firmware and see how it goes.

Attached is firmware 2.52.d9, (firmware removed) you can upgrade using the 'Current Settings' option (to keep you settings)

Hi, I upgraded to 2.52.d9 and I'm sorry to say it has made no difference to this problem, it persists

I'm in the same situation, in that the first IPv6 dropout occurs between 5 - 10 mins starting a connection from any PC on my LAN, it then endlessly disconnects / (reconnects by itself after 2 or 3 mins) 3 or 4 times per hour. I can immediately reconnect IPv6 by reapplying the IPv6 auto-config settings at any time, after which the dropouts continue as ever.

I have 3 Windows PCs on the LAN 2 x Win 11 and 1 x Win 10... all demonstrate the issue.

I have 'hard' reset the router a couple of times just in case something was hanging within a 'soft' reset.

This issue does cause some grief in that if an initial connection is made to a site via IPv6 then a dropout occurs, it very often hangs the browser. It also upsets my Synology NAS, I've had to disallow IPv6 connectivity on that and it looks like I might have to do so for the whole LAN. That's crazy, I really should not have to do that.

There is one more thing, it's a maybe but it would probably still imply a router issue. This problem as best I can determine seemed to show itself around the time I changed from my old FTTC/VDSL connection which used PPPoE, through a Draytek Vigor 130 modem, to my recent current FTTP connection IPoE which now has the router connected to an Adtran ONT. My ISP tells me that IPv6 addresses are allocated via SLAAC, so the IPv6 auto-config setting of stateless should cover this. I have no remnants of my old PPPoE WAN connection left in my router configuration.

I'm really stuck, I just don't know, I'd really appreciate any help that can be given... short of disabling IPv6

Let me check with my engineers again, (as I have VDSL PPPoE connection, so its going to be hard for me to test a EWAN IPOE connection)

Our engineers are requesting a copy of your system log, once set to debugging mode.

1. Login to the router
2. Click on 'Configuration >> System >> Configure Log'
3. Let the Log Level/Display Level to 'Debugging'
4. Click on 'Apply'
5. Let the IPv6 issue occur
6. Copy and paste the system log to wordpad/notepad
7. Send the system log and a copy of your config to support@billion.uk.com

Attached is firmware 2.52.d10, this fw resolves IPv6 issues when using a EWAN >> IPoE connection

Big thanks to Pete B for his assistance

A week or so of debugging, 2 test firmware releases and the official release in the preceding post by Billion Fan. It was an education :D , glad I could help. Problem solved 8-)
