Post by ephid0r »

Currently using latest firmware [g]

my wireless is setup for b/g/n but wireless devices only connect at G speeds

have tried different channels to no avail

when i setup wireless for N only the wireless network is there but no devices can connect

is it a firmware issue ?

I'm on 1.06g also and have had no issues connecting at N speeds on any of the N capable devices I've tried...
What kind of wireless security settings do you have/which particular devices haven't been able to connect?...

Weird... I was using the release from a few weeks ago, which as far as I know is the same as the official release...

Did you ever flash it and import saved settings afterwards?

Which saved settings were you importing as any backed up saved config from a previous firmware version will not apply to the newer one.

If this is what you have done then it will be best to factory reset the router, do the Quick Start to configure it as for first time set up then redo the f/w upgrade and then backup that config.

After doing the f/w upgrade and resetting to Factory, then the config will be peculiar to that f/w and when backed up, you'll see the difference in the file names as it will have the new f/w designate.
