Hi,
I am debating whether to buy and install the 7800n, so I have a few questions that I hope you guys will be able to answer:-
I have had Sky Fibre for 2 months but I am now getting "strict nat" issues on xbox live.
Does anyone have any experiences of switching from the sky issued router to the 7800n?
Does the 7800n solve the NAT issues on xbox?
Is it easy to set up the 7800n on sky fibre? are there any guides.
I hope you can help me on this.
Many thanks
Dave

Re: Should I/Shouldn't I Sky Fibre
Hi Dave,
If you have a look at:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=382
that is the thread relating to using the 7800N on sky fibre (FTTC), there is a beta firmware you will need to install on that thread (half way down the first page).
Then on page two there is a microsoft word document that will help guide you, but if you look at the last page of that topic at a post made by me there are three 3 clear steps to take in a particular order to ensure you can connect to the BT openreach modem.
I have done this on my connection, not had any xbox live issues.
Hope that helps,
Best wishes,
SE
