Bipac 8800 NL R2 - Settings

Post by Stevie1978 »

Apologies if this is a basic question.

I am trying to setup the above router.

I have set the router up as per ISP and it is connecting ok. I have copper ADSL still as our exchange is - GL19 4EJ

https://availability.samknows.com/broad ... ange/SSTRY

However, I want to make sure the annex etc setup correctly.

Also, that the Wi-Fi is operating optimally. Can someone help please

With default settings, you device should be already set to the correct annex type, (the device auto detects the line)

For the wireless connection, you can try changing channel to avoid interference from other wireless devices. (depending on your environment)

You can also change the 'Bandwidth' to '20/40mhz' which will increase the wireless connection speeds, but on this settings you might be more prone to interference, hence the default settings on '20mhz' is set and less prone to interference.
