Is the setup for BT TV the same as the 8800AXL?

Hi Billion_Fan. I got as far as the setting up the WAN bridge connection, multicast settins etc., and the IPTV burst into life. So,the settings that I have applied are identical to the 8800AXL that it's replaced. What I didn't do is to set up the interface grouping, as my BT IPTV box shares its connection with several other devices (via a powerline adaptor & Switch). What is the grouping meant to achieve? is it creating a new broadcast domain, to isolate multicast traffic from other devices?

That's right to isolate the multicasting traffic to one port so it does not flood other ports/clientsevansnp wrote:Hi Billion_Fan. I'm now having problems with UHD. The BT HD channels are fine, but the UHD channel just gives an IPC6011 error. When this happens, the router's port lights, and internet light are flashing like mad, and the router web page isn't available. Any thoughts?

You need to isolate the port as suggested in the guideevansnp wrote:I'm now having problems with UHD. The BT HD channels are fine, but the UHD channel just gives an IPC6011 error. Hi Billion_Fan. As allways, you're right! I didn't do it before as the specific port on the router is shared by other devices too. Just doing some tests now, and the other devices seem ok too!
Once again, thanks for your help

Thanks for the guide, managed to get BT TV working on my main TV. I have another BT TV box in the other room where I have a powerplug that connects to both it and an Xbox. Am I right in assuming that I just add the extra lan port which the powerplug is connected to in the grouping section? In the example it was just P1.
Cheers
