Any reason why? Just got 3 Upstream SES out of nowhere....
Not sure how both the total of Upstream ES and SES can be true, if you look at the amount of OH Frame Errors (CRCs)...

Not trying to be a pain here, but when you purchase a device that costs a lot of money, and is supposed to be one of the best DSL routers on the market, you sort of expect quick and responsive support. Don't you agree?

Our engineers have stated, that as long as your line was stable, and not causing any issues, the issue is low priorityGrimers wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 9:08 am Any reason why? Just got 3 Upstream SES out of nowhere....

Hi Grimers,
Would you mind answering a couple of questions for me?
Your first post in this thread mentions the improvements this model has over your previous gateway. Am I right in assuming you had the 8800AXL previously?
And did you see any improvement in sync rates? And/ or other line stats, with the 8800AXL R2 when compared with the 8800AXL?
Thanks in advance,
Paul

Ok, no worries. Hopefully, it will be fixed soon, as I reported this issue a long time ago...billion_fan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 10:42 am Our engineers have stated, that as long as your line was stable, and not causing any issues, the issue is low priority

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I did have the 8800AXL previously, and yes stability and line speeds are better with the R2, at least on my line.
I hope this helps!

Is there an update on this? It's getting a bit ridiculous now! Anyway, another issue has appeared. The router stops bit swapping randomly every so often, meaning that the connection drops out after a while. Any ideas?

Does this cause the PPP session to close, and recconect, as that's what's been happenning to me for the last few weeks?

I'll get our engineers to check the bit swapping function (I'm not in all next week so will follow up once I return)

Yes, this would cause the PPP session to close, but that issue could be caused by anything.
Yes, and the other issue which also affects the downstream as well!billion_fan wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 9:22 am I'll get our engineers to check the bit swapping function (I'm not in all next week so will follow up once I return)
