I will be setting up my 7800N quite soon. In my Linksys router I could connect and disconnect the ADSL service by clicking the appropriate buttons on its web based GUI, without powering the device up and down.
Is this possible on the 7800N? I've searched through the full manual and can't find such a feature.

That's no problem.
As you log into the 7800 it shows the connection status and has a button to disconnect & then connect the ADSL connection.
