BT Infinity , the 7800N and Dynamic DNS

I use this feature & it works just fine for me.

However, I'm in the process of switching to BT Infinity where the OR modem is between the 7800N & the internet.

My question is whether the 7800N can actually get the external IP address.

Likewise my Synology NAS has this DDNS feature which I'd want to use.

Its should do, the external IP address is passed to the 7800N by the open reach modem
