Is anybody using the new Samsung Chromebook with a 7800N? If I set wireless security to WPA/WPA2-PSK and AES, the Chromebook connects with a good wireless signal but no network traffic flows. If I change AES to TKIP it works fine.
This is actually the opposite of what Google says - they say that it can have problems with TKIP and that AES should be used. I would prefer to use AES for maximum security (everything other device I have works fine with AES). Google support say that the 7800N is to blame (well, they would wouldn't they ).

Have you tried to use just WPA2 AES?? The chromebook might have issues with mixed mode secuirty when set to AES
Yes, it gets all the correct IP information (and DNS addresses) as set up on the 7800N. Nothing can be accessed at all, not even the router itself. The signal is fine but the network is completely dead. As soon as I change from AES to TKIP it works fine.

Looks like the issue is something to do with the chromebook's wireless driver, as there have been no reported issues with customers using AES on any other device eg iPad, iphone, laptops, imac's, PS3, xbox etc

Just been to a friend's house with an Apple Airport Express and it works fine with that set to WPA2/AES. It must be some odd interaction between the 7800N and the chromebook.

I was going to ask you if you could try that out, yeah it must be a compatibility issue, you might want to try and upgrade your firmware to 1.06h, maybe worth a try
