I bought my 7800N soon after it was introduced. It has the original firmware. I've been very pleased with its performance on the BE (ISP) network.
I see that the current User Guide has a section describing SNMP Access Control. My 7800N does not have this option.
I wnat to enable SNMP so that I can monitor the throughput of my Homeplug connection which is connected to the 7800N.
Can I gain access to the SNMP option via a firmware upgrade, or is new hardware required?
Thanks
Geoff

Re: 7800N SNMP Support
Yep a firmware upgrade should resolve your issue.
Make sure you reset back to factory default settings once the firmware upgrade is complete and do not restore setting from previous firmware builds.
The firmware you are looking for is 1.06h
