Weird goings on with the 7800n

Bought this router approx 1 week ago and i am having problems with saved settings.
Brand new from the box i entered in my ppp details and connected ok, i also saved to flash.

The router has been working fine until switching off one day to replace filtered faceplate, upon re starting the router sync'd fine but no authentication.
After checking my details were still showing i did a factory reset and started again, entered details and back online again.
But after i sort out the wireless ssid and encryption details, enter details in laptop the laptop works fine through the router to the internet, but now i cannot enter the router pages at all, 192.168.1.254 is not found !

But what is interesting is dmt tool on the laptop works fine with the same ip address and password !

The same happens with direct ethernet connection, so whilst the internet works through the router, it is not possible to bring up any router pages, this is worrying.

PS i am sure the firmware is 1.06g ?

Hi

I've had this issue on and off but it has seemed to stop with 1.06h which is the latest firmware.

Also sometimes you need to let the admin interface time-out if trying to log in from another location I've found.
