1.05 is quite an old f/w - I've had my 7800N since July 2011 and I think that came with 1.06c and I've never had any router related d/c problems.

billion_fan may have a link for you, but why not try 1.06h to see if that resolves the connectivity problems - remembering to reset to factory settings for the f/w to correctly install where you will then need to re-enter your ISP details.

Is this just a wireless problem or do they also occur when wired ?

My ISP is Bethere but the billion 7800n keeps dropping even if I'm wired or wireless.

My ISP is also BeThere and my 7800n with firmware 1.06h had been connected for 93 days until BT had to do some work on the cables at the pole outside our house 2 days ago
And it's been up since the work was completed.

Also my wife's laptop connects via wireless with no problems.
I would definatly try upgrading to 1.06h, although I started with 1.06d and have never had any problems.

For info my current noise margin, attenuation figures etc are :-

Noise Margin: 3.6 dB
Connection Rate: 6926 Kbps
Line Attenuation: 49.5 dB
Power: 19.0 dBm
Max Rate: 8666 Kbps

as your downstream sync has dropped from 6818 to 6160
and you SNR has droped from 6.1 to 5.5 at the "new" sync speed

It looks like a "large" increase in noise on your line to me.

The poster in the 1.05 f/w link which dates from 2011 never came back to confirm if that resolved the problem.

The 7800N can take that SNR fluctuation in its stride - at one time my SNRM used to drop from ~6 down to <1 late at night and still held the connection.

Give the 1.06h a try and if you still have connectivity problems, then contact your ISP and have them do a line check.

Probably cross-talk with another ADSL line that has gone live which runs close or next to this pair in the binder.
