Can anybody confirm if this works with the BT sport channels? I have a 7800N and have tried to follow the advice given from the above posts and a thread on the BT forums but the advice is not exactly clear. If you add a bridge connection to the EWAN port do you need to enable VLAN support and use a particular port of the router? When I tried this the bridge connected but the PPoE connection would not come up. Could someone give a clear step by step guide to the process please as I am very reluctant to have to get the HH out of the loft!

I can confirm that this solution works for all the BT Sport channels & ESPN.

On the Bridge profile you don't enable the VLAN Mux.

In the Advanced settings , go to IGMP & enable both the IGMP snooping & proxy.

Have a look at this link http://craigy.co.uk/2013/07/bt-vision-m ... pac-7800n/ that Craig wrote which gives screenshots.

Many thanks for the information and the link. I have followed the instructions but with no luck however I have tried the HH and that doesn't work either! Looks like I have a more fundamental problem. Tried the BT help line but queue is massive and have submitted email request instead. It's good to know if BT can sort things out I can continue to use my 7800N. Great support from the forum.

Are you using FTTC connection or a ADSL connection?

I feel all people who have had success with this are using ADSL?

I have BT infinity 2, all "extra" channels work fine with HHub but cannot get anything to play ball with my 7800N creating the profile as suggested

Thanks in advance

All you should need to do is, add a pure bridge EWAN profile to the WAN (so you have two profiles one PPPOE and one pure bridge), save the settings and reboot the router, then reboot your Bt Vision box

After many frustrating attempts at the "same" I upgraded the firmware of the 7800N from 1.06D to 1.06G and without any config changes (i.e. they were already correct) everything burst into life!

So to all, you need the latest firmware or at least an advance on 1.06D :)

Thanks for your help 8-)
