Let me know, I have tested my 8900AX-1600R2 for just over a day, and I can access the device on http://external_IP:1234 from a remote connection (screen shot attached)

Same same. Have been trying on and off for the last few days on D19 firmware and it seems to be fine.

How do i go about adding my current VPN suppliers details to the router, so that i connect full time through the router. I use ExpressVPN. I have approached them, but they weren't helpful in the matter.

I have the username, password, server and shared secret. I can tell you it can be either OpenVPN or PPTP or L2TP-IPsec.

I have found some of your posts about this with screen shots and have tried to adjust the instructions accordingly. However, I get a message back saying Invalid Key Session?

Can you assist?

If you get the invalid session key message, this means another device or web browser/tab is accessing the router (eg if you are running router stats)

Close down all browsing sessions, router stats, and use PPTP (some screen shot examples I posted on the following thread viewtopic.php?f=20&t=11215)

It went through OK, but on checking my IP address to see if it had worked... it kept coming up as my true IP address. So, I don't know what I might have done wrong.

I made it default and connect always, and I also enabled it...?

Any suggestions?

Did you enable the 'Default Gateway' tick box option?? (once you have added your tunnel you will see the option next to the enable)

Have you checked to see if your tunnel is established??? (Status >>> VPN >> PPTP)
