Sky not assigning IP address

router lasted until 17:30, since my last post, and then bombed out failing to connect. current stats from sky router are :

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 4431 kbps 189 kbps
Line Attenuation 54.5 dB 33.8 dB
Noise Margin 4.5 dB 0.1 dB

which looks very wrong. a call to sky maybe?

The upstream SNR (0.1db) is too low and will cause disconnections

called sky, who said there is a problem on the line and have raised a call with bt openreach. thanks for all the responses.
