Any news on this?

The similar problem with the 8800nl appears to have been fixed with a firmware update: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3529

Anything for the 7800dxl?

Try using the attached firmware

jhewess I would be interested if the new firmware fixes your problem, I am having Plusnet Fibre installed next week and will be using my 7800DXL with the openreach modem.

It doesn't appear to have fixed the problem, no. Am still getting the same ping spikes.

Shown here, until I switched back over to another router just after 5pm:

All I can suggest is that you try yours and see what happens. It may well be something localised that's causing mine, who knows. Although I've never had this issue with any other router that I've used.

So, wich firmware is most updated?
2.32d.dm12 or 2.32d.dh53?

Can you try using the attached firmware to see if it helps??

This firmware is the latest beta firmware I have, and resolves SNMP issues.

With this firmware I would advise to reset back to factory default settings, and to manually reconfigure the device again from scratch, as there are many changes within the firmware.

Attached is only firmware I can find, that is near to what you want.
