I have attached the new firmware for you.

Please upgrade your device (using a wired connection) and let me know if you have any issues in the future.

Do not use a wireless connection to upgrade your firmware, as the firmware will not be upgraded. (when you start a firmware upgrade on the 3100SN, the wireless connection turns off, and the firmware can not be uploaded correctly)

Many thanks for looking at this in such detail. I will upload the firmware this evening, test and let you know.

well, thank you very much - great support!

The new firmware does indeed appear to have provided a fix. My 3100SN system up time can now exceed 24 hrs!
