Re: Strange ipv6 behaviour

[quote="billion_fan"]On the WAN side delete the '::' and enter xxxx:xxxx:feed:6069::/56, then you should have a fixed IP. You will also need to enter a static IPv4 address on the WAN section for the unit to accept your Ipv6 configuration.
Trying to revisit this....
Billion_fan, could you please try and explain this? Surely a static IP address in IPv6 should be represented (in your example) by xxxx:xxxx:feed:6069::/128?
Where on the WAN profile should the static IPv4 address be entered?
I currently have IPv6 working just fine on my config by having the '::' entered on the WAN profile page and a /64 subnet entered on my LAN->IPv6 autoconfig page. The main status screen reports my IPv4 static address and an IPv6 address which changes on router reboot. All networked devices report 10/10 on IPv6 test pages on the internet.
What do I need to change in my config to get the 7800n to retain a fixed IPv6 address -based on the LAN MAC and the /64 prefix supplied by my ISP - on reboot?
Advice, please!
Jon
