Yes I did, and yes it was...

I've also changed the DNS to OpenDNS 208.67.222.123 & 208.67.220.123 to see if that made a difference to the speed, and it didn't. Same sluggish results.

For some reason if all traffic is tunnelled with the router I lose 95% throughput. However, if I use my VPN at a network connection level, than I lose 10% throughput, which I am happy with. But all the settings are the same??? Same VPN server IP etc.

Latest firmware released by our engineers is attached (Bipac 8900AX-1600 R2)

That's good to hear....

Hey Billion Fan, did the engineers ever get back to you about the slow speeds on a dedicated VPN setup. I have just tried on the new d21 FW and I yield the same results. A slow almost unusable speed when I use the routers VPN setup.

Our engineers said its a hardware limitation (CPU) as the router has to decrypt and encrypt packets for all clients when using PPTP with 'Default Gateway' option used
