My ISP is BT. How do I enable IPV6 - BT use a "PD of 56" if that helps.

Try following the two attached screen shots, (that is if BT have enabled IPv6 for your line)

Not sure about BT as they haven't enabled IPv6 on my line yet (I am currently testing a newer firmware for the Bipac 8900AX-2400 at moment)

I know these settings work fine with Zen, and others have reported the same settings working fine with Sky

Also revert to the following link, viewtopic.php?f=19&t=9180&p=20109&hilit=BT+Ipv6#p20109

drattt seems to have it working with VDSL BT

I fiddled and have IPv6 working in native mode.

Okay - that set up didn't work out. I quickly started getting web pages hanging. resolved by disabling IPV6 on the Billion.

I think it may be to do with the PD 56 situation, but I need to understand this more myself to make any sort of real comment.

Have a look at this thread on the BT Community site BT IPv6 with third party router - it includes a link to another lengthy thread about IPv6 where the most relevant stuff may be from message 49 onwards.
There is some reference to Sky also using /56 and that this would cause problems but billion_fan has already indicated that Sky users are fine.
It may well be that Billion may have to do a firmware update similar to what another manufacturer is currently doing ( as mentioned in the lengthy thread)

Have a look at the following thread

http://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/20 ... esses.html

There's a guy there called FibreFred who has everything working fine on the 8800 series

It might be a IPv6 DNS server issue, you might want to set google IPv6 servers up, (if you haven't already also try changing the IPv4 DNS servers also to googles DNS servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)

The Google Public DNS IPv6 addresses are as follows:
•2001:4860:4860::8888
•2001:4860:4860::8844

Okay - trying again.

Initial tests through IPV6 test is 10/10

Through test IPV6 18/20 - as firewall is filtering ICMP packets.

I'll see if this runs without hitches.

Thanks for all the input.

Does any of this really matter?

Does IPV6 give any performance (ie speed) improvements?
