8800NL R2 in Sky Fibre PPP Half Bridge mode?

Hi,
I currently run my home network with the following configuration:
Sky Q Hub (Sky Fibre) --> Netgear Orbi
The Orbi is required to be in full routing mode (not Access Point mode) to allow me to use the Disney Circle parental controls which are important to me.
I have almost eliminated double nat by placing the Orbi into the DMZ of the Sky Q Hub, however its not ideal - particularly with SIP Voip etc. I also want better line stats to check CRC and ES Errors.
So, I've purchased a 8800NL R2 which should give me more control than the Sky Hub.
It seems like the ideal situation would be to use the 8800NL R2 in Half bridge mode, utilising the MER capability of the 8800NL which the Orbi cannot handle. However reading the info it seems to imply this is only available on ADSL rather than VDSL?
Am I right in thinking that, "PPP Half Bridge mode (ADSL only single WAN IP)" means I can't use this option on VDSL?
Thanks for any advice. Looking forward to getting the Billion device tomorrow!
