Hi guys. After a lot of research, I've decided that I will just get a billion VDSL modem/router. I am not really comfortable using hg612 openreach modem with my old 7800dxl adsl router. My problem now is which billion product to buy. Reading the other threads it appeared that the new 8800AXL R2 model is the Billion AC1600 Dual Band Wireless VDSL/ADSL2+ Gigabit Modem Router in amazon.co.uk. However, there is another AC1600 model in amazon with VPN on the description and is on much higher price. I've checked the billion products on the billion official website and I couldn't find similar product that I found in amazon. Which is the latest between these two and what are the main difference besides the VPN.

The main difference is the VPN and chipset.
