WAN Service Description

With my 8900AX-2400, I'm currently running a standard VDSL2 (PTM) connection to the Internet. Using my Windows machine (Edge browser or IE), I've performed a Restart of my 8900. In the course of this I was asked onscreen whether, on restore, I wanted the factory default settings or my own, and I opted for my own.
On completion of the Restart, however, I now notice that, in Configuration > WAN > WAN Service, the Description of the PTM Interface is now showing differently, as "pppoe_0_1_1.101.101", whereas prior to the Restart it showed as "pppoe_0_1_1.101". Going into the Edit page for the PTM Interface, the Description parameter also now shows as "pppoe_0_1_1.101.101".
I tried deleting the now current Description and typing in and Applying what I reckoned to be the correct description, but the 8900 immediately restored the one with the double-101. Is this correct? Clearly, access to the Web is still there.
Could this double-101 description be just a more precise one and maybe has come about because, in Advanced Setup > Default Gateway, I'd previously transferred all currently unused Interfaces from the "Selected Gateway Interfaces" box to the "Available Routed WAN Interfaces" box, leaving just the ppp1.1 in the "Selected Gateway Interface" box?
If this double-101 description isn't strictly correct, should I re-run the Quick Start and reconfigure everything afresh?
Incidentally, I'm using static DNS addresses on the Web and have configured the 8900 accordingly: Advanced Setup > DNS.
