Connect 4G LTE modem to 8800NL

Hi
I have a Netgear Nighthawk M1 LTE mobile router (currently serving as both modem and router). I also have an 8800NL, which I would like to use as the router, and connect it to the Nighthawk which would then serve as just a modem.
I think I know how to configure the M1 by putting it into bridge mode, disabling DHCP and setting the IP address of the device to 192.168.0.1. However, I'm getting stuck on how to configure the 8800NL correctly. I've tried setting the IP address of the 8800NL to 192.168.1.1 and enabling DHCP within that subnet. Nothing I have tried after that seems to work, so can anyone point me in the right direction please (or recommend a different approach)?
Thanks!
