Hi just set up my new 7800 (not n) with a draytek 2830n at its incoming wan 2
My set up with the 7800 is not bridged because can not see the stats but in normal operation
I have disable dhcp, upnp, img snooping, dmz, wifi there isn't to turn off, port forward not in use and many other features off ... note the 7800 firewall is at default
I have change the 7800 ip to 192.168.0.1 and at draytek set it via static ip at 192.168.0.100 as showing at this page
"Setting up the DrayTek 2920 with two ADSL modems"
http://www.increasebroadbandspeed.co.uk/draytek-2920
I also manged to get an increased speed of 4 mb with no disconnections ... out of the wan 1 build in adsl 2830 's modem
ALL works great no problems so far, seems perfect combination them 2 ... but when i am following this process to turn off NAT to the 7800 ... is not giving access to internet while i still can see the UI of the 7800 & n2830
http://www.billion.uk.com/esupport/inde ... figuration
Am i missing something? at the 2830 can not turn off NAT ... they just say ... you can not disable ... you use it or not ... if not in use, will not have effect
Is something to worry for double NAT?? & how to find out if i have double NAT
PS
I have a single dynamic IP address from provider if that matters
Firmware is from UK 1.06h and i am using it down in Greece with a broadcom exchange
I also got the DSLstats v3.97 tool which works great with the billion
Thanks
