Bipac 7800 and Italian ISP Fastweb

Post by adolfouno »

Hello all, I'm an happy owner of a Bipac 7800...when I decided to move on a new local ISP here in Italy - Fastweb -.
They provided also a modem ( TG784n v3 ) to give the service, but I'd like to configure my 7800 because I'm sure that it's more stable than the new one.

The TG784n is working well using the IPoE protocol that in the 7800 seems be as the available MPoA.
( my cfg for test was in the picture attached )

Neverthless, I had no luck to configure it succesfully.

Any suggestion to make the 7800 working?
Any other "colleague" of mine already tried to configure it for FastWeb?

many thanks in advance

Did you save your config and restart the router after making this change or you can use the 'Basic' menu and click on 'Wan' double check the settings and click on 'Apply' and the router will save your settings and reboot
