Hi all,

I've been fiddling with this for the last hour or so without success, and I'm wondering where exactly I'm going wrong.

I have the 7800 set up to allow PPTP passthrough to a Server 2008 R2 RRAS Server, however whatever I do, I keep getting a bounceback message (Error 807).

I'm pretty sure I've missed something in my configuration, so here goes (maybe a fresh set of eyes will help(!):

Under VPN:
PPTP Function Disabled (so that the 7800 doesn't intercept the VPN requests)

I've attached screenshots of the Port Mapping and Firewall configuration.

Would anyone be able to help with this?

Try removing the firewall rules, so there should only be the default rule. (outgoing rule)

All you should need to do is setup the virtual server section, test this first then you can add a rule to allow only one WAN IP to connect to the PPTP server using the firewall.

I might not have explained myself well - passthrough to our 2008 Server was a requirement, as we have a number of staff who use VPN from home.

In the end, it wasn't the firewall rules - RRAS on the server had disabled itself when we disabled IPV6, and needed some subtle encouragement to get working again. All working now, thank you for your time!
