I got a 8900ax-2400 today and its running 2.52.d23.
Everytime i upgrade i get this file contains an illegal image.
I've reset to defaults and tried every firmware from this site and the official.

I've just noticed it didnt come with the official power supply(its from ebay). Its a technicolor 12v2.5amp
on the box it should be 15v2amp.
Ive ordered and offical one from zcomax, could this be the problem?

Looking into it bit more it seems its got some custom firmware from call flow broadband. Is there anyway I can do to remove this and put the latest on?

If I submit a ticket do you think billion would help even though the modem is second hand or should I just refund it?
I think I've tried everything to get a new firmware on it, even managed to get it into recovery mode but it wouldnt accept the firmware.
