locked myself out - options?

Just changed my ISP from Sky Fibre to Plusnet Fibre, internet is all working great but I noticed that I couldn't connect to any of my internal services (server, cameras etc)
Advanced options was missing the "Virtual Servers" setting where I had previously defined my rules/ports... okay, I guess sky used ipoe and plusnet is definitely ppoe (somebody else changed the settings whilst I was at work, so i'm guessing a little here)
Navigating around, I saw "enable firewall on Lan side"... hmm doesn't quite sound right, but maybe checking that will bring back the Virtual Servers section....
Nope. And now I cannot connect to the router internally or externally...
Does anybody know why the menu option was missing, but more importantly, how I might go about re-accessing the router admin interface (aside of a reset to factory default)
