Hi,

I recently purchased an Asustor 604-T NAS and have been having problems getting the WOL to work.

I just came across the WOL option in the router and was wondering whether I need to have this option set for it to work on my NAS?

Yes you need this function enabled on the router to use wake on LAN with our router, for example you add mac address, host name etc, once added if you want to wake up the device, you login to the router navidate to the 'Wake on LAN' page and click on the 'Wake' button this will wake up your device
