6dB. But I have a strange issue with this router (Net***r works fine): I set SNR to -4dB, getting 2.1 dB SNR. This is fine for a day or 2, then I get a disconnection. OK, this could be too low for my line. But after some minutes, looking inside GUI, I see that SNR is much more high (i saw 5 dB and even 7.3 dB). After a reboot, line is still at 2.1 dB...

Seems like your line/ISP might be having issues, this is something your ISP should investigate

For my ISP everything is ok... Now I'm trying different values.
FYI: you can even use half values from the table. I.E. 2.5 means -3.5 dB.

Being silly I entered 4092 and it just sat there unable to connect at all.
I reset it to 6 and thankfully all is now well.....Is that right ???

4092 is to drop your SNR my 10.5db, so once set to -1 you will get your default SNR downstream value (eg 6db), then use the table to enter a value that so you can get as close to 3db (if the default value is 6db enter 3 in the SNR page) and see if your line is stable with this setting, if not higher the SNR value, (all lines are different and react differently so you will have to find the best value for you line)

Yep, pretty much what I figured....but I would have thought a setting of 4092 etc would have given the lowest possible setting....not no connection at all...
