Can anyone confirm if this setup will work?

Hi guys,

Been using a Wimax router from Greenpacket with a burstable download rate from 4-20mb and uploads around 2.5mb dependent on contention. Its cheap (for Jersey) plus great for torrent downloads and general browsing (also no download cap :D ) but rubbish for online gaming (my ping hits around 130+ ) and streaming video (YouTube etc don't seem to like adaptive rate connections or something like that)

So until fibre is ready in my area i've ordered an 8mb ADSL2+ line (all i can attain as the copper is ran on overhead wires) on which i'll be using the 7800DXL, what i'm hoping to do is connect the DXL and the Wimax router to a TP-LINK TL-R470T+ load balancer from which i'll hardwire my PC and other stationary devices (tv/Archos TV connect) but I want to setup the DXL to use around 2mb of the 8mb line over Wifi for my wife's laptop and a couple of other wireless devices (phones/tablets) and split the remaining bandwidth like so:

Torrents via hardwire from my PC to the TP-Link using the Wimax connection

Gaming/streaming etc on all other hardwired devices on the TP-Link via the 8mb line

I have a vague idea of how i can achieve it but im just wondering if anyone can give me some tips or poke some holes in my plan just in case.

I've got another 2 weeks before the 8mb line is fitted to plan this but the reason i need to use the DXL for Wifi rather than just bridge to the TP-link is because i live in an area where there are around 10 Wifi AP's all on auto channel and the WiMax router struggles to cut through.

Any advice would be great

Cheers
