Telnet commands

Can anyone tell me whether there is a list of telnet commands for the 7800N? If not then could someone advise if the IPTABLES command is supported?
Additionally can the IPTABLES data be saved between reboots or must it be re-entered each time?
TIA

After you have accessed telnet using 192.168.1.254 >> Enter followed by admin and your password if you've changed it from admin, type help >> Enter and the page will scroll with all of the available cmds.
They are usually followed by a space then --*
adsl info --stats will give you the router stats.

Thanks very much, I don't yet have a 7800N (it's on order) so I am currently unable to check, was just wondering about IPTABLES in the meantime: ie is it supported and what happens during reboot?

The 7800N is like any other router I suppose where it picks up a different external IP address every time you boot up, but the IPv4 address for either Wireless, Ethernet or any other device that has been connected, can be seen in the DHCP Table and the lease default time is 24hrs. Anything that has been assigned a static IP can be seen as connecting in the router's System log as a Request and Ack for the Mac, as that will be outside of the DHCP pool.
The IPv4 addresses will show as either "Remaining" or "Expired". I don't how long the entry will continue to show as Expired after the 24hrs has elapsed, but it does eventually disappear.
My usage is pretty constant other than the odd HDD recovery of late which involves a load of driver/Windows updates etc so, it isn't something I keep checking.
Otherwise, I'm not sure what you mean by the "IPTABLES" data/cmd.

Have a look at the Billion support site's FAQ's etc
http://www.billion.uk.com/esupport which may give you an insight into the settings etc.
