Hi folks, relative noob here in the grand scheme of things, but not scared of the settings.
OK, HH5 is now installed and running (today) but I want to retain the use of the Billion 7800N as a router. Keep trying to find a 100% accurate "how to" for connecting the 2 together. There seems to be 3 or different ways to do it and to be honest - the ones I have tried up to know have failed miserably.
Any help on this will be greatly accepted.
Rick.

The only option is to set the 7800N to EWAN mode (router mode) and plug a ethernet connection from the HH5 to the EWAN port on the 7800N, then DMZ the WAN IP address the 7800N
Things to look out for is to ensure the IP address of the HH5 and 7800N do not match.

Ok changed the 7800n IP Address to 192.168.1.200 then plugged the cable from LAN1 (HH5) to EWAN (7800n)
7800n appeared on the HH5, added to DMZ.
Now I can't access 192.168.1.200 on either the HH5 wireless or the 7800n wireless networks.
No internet access on the 7800n wireless network.
Default gateway is coming up as 192.168.1.200 when I run ipconfig...

Do you have another device on the network that is running on 192.168.1.200??
Try setting the 7800N to a different subnet eg 192.168.2.254, then setup the 7800N with a EWAN connection, then check the WAN IP, it should a IP address from the DHCP on the HH5.
