7800DX queries

Hi

I'm considering replacing a Asus rtn65u with a 7800 DX

Can anyone advise what the wireless range is like.
I normally have the router on a shelf in my office at the back of the house, obviously I'd want coverage to the upstairs front of the house.. Standard size house. Nothing fancy.. The Asus and home hub 3 both worked fine.

Would I expect the billion to be any better or worse ??

Doess making any changes to the network, dhcp, WiFi, guest WiFi, VPN etc cause the wan connection to stop and restart? I've been told not but just want to confirm.
The Asus stops and starts the wan for most changes I make!

Any one knows a UK seller with any deals on at the moment ?

Think that's it..

Thanks

I can't really comment on the comparison between the asus wireless signal and the 7800DX wireless signal, as I have never used a Asus router (I don't plan too either)

I can confirm the device does not reboot when dhcp, WiFi, guest WiFi, VPN etc changes are made. So the WAN will still be up.

Not sure about any sales on at the moment, maybe someone else can help :D
