Slow Internet

My isp is talktalk
weekdays most of the time the speed is good from early morning to 4 or 5 pm then it will go slow untill midnight. This weekend has been slow all the time, the thing is that the speed will probably get better tonight.
Is this just down to talktalk?

looks like things are better maybe it talktalk punishing me for you using the internet to much

I did try PhyR and snr but could not stay connected
The phone cable from bt socket to router is long should i try moving router closer to bt socket
Would thet make things better?
