Hello,
I have just changed my router to a 7700N and the Net connection is Rock solid but the wireless connection drops out about once or twice every hour. The Wireless light stays on but does not flash and the wireless network dissapears. I have checked online and there appears to be a lot of people suffering the same problem. Please see this link:-

I have gleaned from this thread that the routers wireless is much better if the new Beta firmware is loaded onto the router. Do we have a UK version of this FW?

Is anybody else suffering from this problem?

Sometimes my wireless drops out, but when it does, I can only reboot... also, the signal is sometimes not as good as I would expect.

I will request the beta UK firmware now, I will post a update once I have it.

We have now uploaded the Beta firmware under our test firmware section.

Do you have any idea what has changed in the new firmware.

From what I have seen from the router web gui and from the threads on the AU Billion forum, there are some wireless changes in the firmware.

was having the numerous drop outs on the 2 laptops in the house.
after updating firmware can report after a week only had 2 reports of dropouts.
great improvment. as could have several in a few hours.
