7800 bridged and vpn passthrough

If i set a 7800 to bridge mode and let a dd-wrt router handle everything else, will i still be limited to a single VPN passthrough by the 7800 ? i.e. would the dd-wrt router now the limiting factor for vpn capabilities ?

As the 7800 is now working as a dumb modem only, the dd-wrt router should be the limiting factor
