Half Speed Virgin Media *7800n

Hello, I am getting around 126mb download speed when connected wired to my virgin media router, but when I use the billion router wired and in EWAN mode I am only getting around half of that speed.
Anyone else had this problem or know what could be the problem?

The Bipac 7800N EWAN port is only 100mbps so this could be the reason for limited speeds when using the EWAN port.
The Bipac 7800DXL has a gigabit EWAN port which can handle higher speeds 1000mbps (my Bipac 7800DXL with Virgin I can get 160mbps with speedtest.net when using the EWAN port)

ah that would explain it. Looks like I am due an upgrade then thanks billion_fan
