I wondered if anyone could help with the settings.

I have talk talk fibre. I can access the tv channels fine except for the add on sky sports etc. does anyone know how to adust the router so that I can access these channels?

Follow the steps below

1. Login to the router
2. Click on 'Configuration >> WAN >> Add'
3. Change the 'Layer2 Interface' to 'PTM
4. Change the 'Type' to 'Bridging'
5. Chnage the '802.1P Priority' to '0'
6. Change the ' 802.1Q VLAN ID ' to '101'
7. Click on 'Next'
8. Click on 'Configuration >> LAN'
7. Change 'IGMP Snooping Mode' to 'Standard Mode'
8. Click on 'Apply'
9. Click on 'Advanced Setup >> Multicast'
10. Tick the 'Membership Join Immediate (IPTV)' box
11. Click on 'Apply'
12. Restart your youview box

If your youview box is using a wireless connetion follow the steps below

1. Configuration >> Wireless
2. Tick the 'Enable' box for Wireless 'Multicast Forwarding (WMF)'
3. Click on 'Apply'

Can you perhaps explain please what actually happens when one adds the bridging interface? What is one bridging with exactly? In particular if they already have IGMP Multicast enabled on the IPoE interface they created, and IGMP Snooping enabled on the LAN interface, and their Multicast configuration set appropriately.

FYI: I am also with TalkTalk for fibre, have a Billion 8800AXL (no Openreach modem) but use Sky and their on demand services. No real issues with On Demand content, but just wondering if there are any improvements to be had. Thanks!

The Bridge wan is for the IPTV, this is the WAN connection used for streaming, (from what we found out on the 7800N for BT sports etc)
