I am with Plusnet and decided to change my DNS server to either Google or Open DNS. I think my efforts may have got me in to a bit of a muddle. Ignoring any whys and wherefores the present position is that in Windows 7 both Ethernet LAN, and WAN.

However on the Status page I have

Primary DNS Server 212.159.6.10
Secondary DNS Server 212.159.6.9

. They relate to Plusnet DNS Servers. Under Configuration> LAN Google DNS details are showing, though earlier they were showing Open DNS addresses.

I would like guidance how to sort out my muddle, please. Sorry am asking what must be a simple matter to many here.

Make the change under 'Advanced Setup >> DNS >> DNS'

Thanks! All are now showing Google addresses.
