With g.inp being rolled out to fibre cabinets. I don't think the 8800n supports this will there be a firmware upgrade?
I say I don't think the 8800nl supports it as the question was asked in this thread
viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2972 and was only answered with vectoring.
Thanks

Assuming that this actually refers to the 8800NL (?), I'm interested in the answer too. As gmorgan says, G.INP is being rolled out and I do know of one person who has had it applied to his connection. He uses the Huawei HG612 modem, and this clearly reports a lot of extra information which isn't reported on a non-G.INP connection.
So please, does (or will) the 8800NL support G.INP?

the BiPAC 8300/8400 series seems (not that it seems to exist anyway, other than on the billion.com site) to support the following:
- ITU-T G.998.4 (G.inp)
- ITU-T G.993.5 (G.vector)
and 30a profile, how come the 8800 seems stunted?

come on billion, we need a response regarding vectoring and g.inp, both not present in firmware and spec pages.
Do I stop reccomending your products?

We are checking with our engineers regarding g.inp support, our 8800NL already supports vectoring

Profile 30a isn't going to be used in the UK so it not necessary to support it.

No it won't since G.Fast is the future copper bodge.
However G.inp is the last outstanding feature. Would be nice it officitally stated it has G.vector on the website.
