Recently purchased the above router to be used in a rural setting with reasonably noisy line which has been patched several times so is not the best. My old Netgear DG834GT manages a constant and reliable 6.0+ Mbps but although the Billion starts off at this it quickly (within minutes) drops back to 1.0/2.0 Mbps. Have tried adjusting SNR and turning on and off PhyR setting but neither helps. Is the Billion unit just too sophisticated to cope with my less than perfect line ? Have attached various config and status screen shots.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Can you post a screen capture of your 'xDSL' page found under Status >> Statistics >> xDSL
