7800N Problems

Post by ephid0r »

hey guys

Just bought a 7800n and is having problems

firstly the box locks up after 3 or 4 minutes - cannot access via ethernet or wireless

secondly the wireless card seems to not appear after i reset after locking up

i have to switch off for 5 minutes then switch back on

tried different firmware but problem still exists

only thing i noticed is in system log the wireless card is constantly in a state of resetting

where do i stand concerning rma

Probably best to raise a ticket with Tech support at http://www.billion.uk.com/esupport explaining the problem.

They will contact you via e-mail (usually within 24hrs) and then you could attach/copy & paste the log into your reply, should it be needed.

They will inform you of any remedial steps to take incuding a RMA if required.
